Friday Night Short Course Series

This is the long awaited for Friday night Short Course Racing Series between Pin Shop Hobbies of Watertown and Wolcott Hobby of Wolcott.

This is a point series with a Bar-b-que and raffle to be held on the final race of the series. In order to qualify for the raffle, trophy ceremony, and bar-b-que you must attend 4 of the 6 race events. Sorry, no exceptions.

· July 3 Pinshop Hobbies

· July 17 Wolcott Hobby

· July 31 Pinshop Hobbies

· August 14 Wolcott Hobby

· August 30 (Sunday) Pinshop Hobbies

Sunday final race for trophy, raffle, and bar-b-que

Race Information:

Racing on Friday night starts a 6:30 prompt. NO waiting or exceptions.

The Sunday final being held at Pinshop starts at 12 noon.

Here is a list of the following classes. The rules and regulations will be strictly enforced to allow for fair competition through the entire points series

Stock slash

You may only run what comes in the box from traxxas as far as parts are concerned. No RPM parts, no upgrades. A box stock slash only! You may change the shock oils, and radio and receiver only.

Battery

Battery will be and 8.4 or smaller NIMH or NICAD battery. Any 7.4 lipo with a maximum discharge rate of 28c. It must be posted from the manufacturer on the battery. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

Modified Short Course

Any Team Associates SC10, Slash, or Losi Desert Truck. It must maintain its original form. Any Electronics or aftermarket parts are acceptable. Stock size tires and rims as well. No battery packs larger than 8.4 volt

Race fees are $25.00 for the first class and $15.00 for additional classes. There will be T-shirts for anyone attending 4 of the 6 events, plaques for the top 10 finishers, and tons of raffle ranging from car kits to batteries to go along with the all day bar-b-que at the series final. This is going to be HOT!!!
